Ascents in Flinders Peak (limited access) by Rob Saunders

Finally got to this great line of Matts. Seems like an eon ago we were putting up this wall. Stellar line mate! Climbs great. I blew up on the onsight, but went second go. RAD!

Great to get back on and do a lap of this banger!

Challenging sequences, tricky clips and sloppy feet. Close but no cigar. Hopefully next time.

missing a few holds since the last time i climbed this earlier in the year. Getting a lot of love.

Great route in exposed position. Power moves and tricky clips. Anybody who does DT should finish the pillar.

Banger pitch of continuous climbing.

Hard to read as an onsight, so bombed that. No sign of any chalk on the route and it's months since any rain.

Probably one of the best lines at The Sanctuary. Engaging the whole way.

After all the rain and now some nicer temperatures. Took a few more shots to work out the unusual sequences and moves and clip the anchors. Super fun with lots of climbing styles packed into one line.

Nice warm up and will clean up well. Good FA from Ethan, will be a popular climb as it cleans up.

FFA. Inspected and cleaned on TR to check out gear placements. Climbs great on an unusual rock structure.

still tricky to get that sequence right.

Good alternate line. Long draw on (4) & short draw on (5) is preferable for rope and belayer. Rad boulder problem.

Tricky line left and above the cave. (also possible to scramble across to upper MG wall from these anchors)

Finally worked out Jacks puzzle! Second round on this route. Long crimpy techo line. Will clean up well.

Last line on the golden wall. Has great moves and a sting in the tail....

FFA. This is an amazing route! Quiet the mission to bolt top down over three sessions. Initially it had a shared anchor with what became "Good as Gold". However there was option to take it further up the wall to the wombat hole and independent anchors. Logistically challenging, but worth the effort. You can see Brisbane and the bay from the Anchors. 2 raps to the ground.

FFA. Golden rock and another quality line. Not much like this at the grade. Independent anchors. 2 raps to the ground.

Working burn to lock in the roof sequence and ending moves and kneebars

Good conditions and sufficient beta. snuck through crux and lucky at the anchors. Fantastic climbing.

Worked out the short ass beta and put the draws on. Tricky sequences.

Lobbed the dyno move and stuck it all together. Terrific route!

Broke a crimper off high on the prow and took a screamer. Not a critical hold.

Great position and technical climbing. Worth doing the upper pitch. Well done Alex!
