Ascents in Feltham Buttress by Scott Godwin

First proper jamming test post surgery. Ankle felt stiff but ok.

10 traxion laps, then one lead lap with Greg. Shoulder feeling better than expected, which was encouraging.

Seconded in the dark to get out.

One lead then 12 laps on top rope. Quick after work crack fitness session.

A couple of laps while we were here. Must be the best moderate crack in the gorge. If only it was three times longer.

Fell three or four times at the second bolt crux. Worked out the foot position eventually. The next crux is maintaining the contrivance by by not stepping across into Lingham.

Nails. Started on lead but got completely bamboozled. It looks like something has broken off recently near the first bolt. Took multiple tries on top rope just to work out the moves. Felt pretty hard for 22?

TR solo with a microtraxion. About ten laps.

Don't know why I hadn't done this before. Pretty good.

A few laps on lead. Shoulder felt pretty good.

Two laps on lead. Shoulder improving. Feels much more solid, but still a little bit sore afterwards.

A few laps to test the shoulder out. Slowly improving. Hope for some climbing on the Ben this season yet?

A couple of very slow, cautious laps on top rop to see how the shoulder would go. Pretty flakey.

Tricky to protect down low. Good climbing though.

Sweet hand jamming. Quite strenuous.
