Ascents in Zuestoll

Wunderbare, natürlich geführte Route. Saniert, viele Bohrhacken. Ausstieg (letzten 2 SL)alternativ direkt zu Kreuz (2-3 Camelots).

Copied the grades from our guide book. The route is really well protected now, cams or nuts are not necessary. We replaced pitch 9 (5b) with pitch 6 (6a+) of Allerheiligen and pitch 12 (4c) with pitch 8 (6b+) of Patriot. The bolts in these two pitches were considerably less frequent.

Great route with awesome views Easy access from the north side if you bring 13 CHF in coins or you have internet and the parking app (15€).

Pretty awesome line through the south face of Zuestoll. The first three pitches are shared with the Pause classic "Alte Süd". Mostly solid rock. Very well protected. No extra pro needed.

L2: just one blank part of the wall, crimpy and I didn´t get the solution. Easy A0.

L4: More sustained pitch, very well protected. Climbing on reasonable holds with bad footholds.

L7: Definitely the hardest pitch. Starts on the right in the open dihedral. Small moves on bad hand holds are needed at the beginning. The end of the pitch is steeper and pumpy. Was lucky to free it as a follower.

L8: Relatively long and sustained pitch. Very exposed. Just awesome!!

The descent, which includes rappeling through the west face (>1h) back to Paliis Nideri isn´t that fast. If you approach from the north side just have the Backpack depot close to the path to zuestoll and walk down on a easy path.

Super Kalkroute an einer sehr imposanten Wand mit einem genialen Ausblick. Gut Saniert, trotzdem Tradmaterial nützlich. Verhauer kurz nach der Höhle - hier ausversehen in nem Projekt gelandet und zurückziehen müssen.

Many bolts in loco but used few cams here and there and especially along the traverses.
