tips for summer in stockholm

hi everybody, this would fit more to stockholm area per se but i can only comment on crag level so i hope nobody is annoyed too much about my general question here:

I will be staying in stockholm in july a couple off days and i want to do some climbing there, are there any reccomendations regarding crags, sectors...? Gear, Sport, Difficulty (<=7c) I don't care just wanna have a good time up in the north!

Thanks a ton in advance and cheers, Gernot

Stockholm has some fun crags, especially South, of Stockholm. When in july are you plankning your visit? I live close to some crags around Tyresö like Gritstone, Klövberget etc. A day here is worthwile. 25 km fr.om Downtown /Jojan

Servus Gernot, there's some really nice climbing around Stockholm. If you are looking for sportclimbing crags, there's Örnberget and Skevik or Gåseborg that I would recommend. Looking for trad, Tyresö crags are quite good (they are also located in a beautiful area), Häggsta and Grönbrinksberget are two excellent alternatives.

If you want to check out some more info and topos, go to "sverigeföraren.se" or "27crags.com" and search for them. These websites are slightly better maintained even though I'm trying hard to keep up on thecrag.com

Do you have a car available during your stay? That would make things easier since there's only a couple of crags easily available by public transport. I'm always up for climbing, so give me a call if you plan something or need further help!

Kommunikation funktioniert auch fließend auf deutsch falls das einfacher ist Grüße Philip
