Fun and spicy crux for the grade

very exciting crux, worth of a star IMO

Led first pitch only near end on day

not the greatest, nor the most sustained

Climbed the first pitch and squeezed thru the hole at the back to get off. Nice climbing

Not for the faint hearted. The crux will accept RP’s but it’s still not something you want to fall on

One move, but it's a good move! Reasonable protection and the exit is novel.

Missed a hold on the crux and made life exciting!

Just P1. Not the nicest climb to do at night. Tricky crux. Amazing job leading it in the dark Pazi

We thought this is D major, apparently we got on the wrong route. After finishing we thought that this is Arapalis's old schooled grade 10 and was a little scared of everything haha. After we checked the new guide book and realising that this is Decibel not D major, which means that I still haven't done D major and accidentally struggled on Decibel twice! I lead the first pitch, and then Clive did the second pitch of D major.

Harder work through the crux than you might imagine.

Rather tricky crux, but well protected. The rest of the climb is much easier (maybe a grade 10).

Onsight solo

aarons 1st araps climb, did it as an alt. 1st pitch to d-major but turned out to be a bit so-so

Phil led P1 - missing the crucial handhold on the crux turning into something to think about!

Decibel P1 quite delicate then a surprise hand jam near the top. Not sure I'd give it a star. Up the easy Stentor chimney with one piece for sanity, then a commiting step into Stentor P3 which is short but nicely sustained, a bit of a pump hanging around for gear. Wouldn't give that 17 or an R rating though.

Not bad climbing.

Crux at the top is easier if you jam the correct hand. I didn't. Only realised watching John second.

The feet in the bottomless chimney felt sketch!
