Really cool. Sent first attempt after rapping down and scrubbing the top headwall, was quite filled with lichen

Some real runouts on unlikely seeming moves. Twin ropes help alot. Super fun climbing

After the crux I went to the left, felt a bit harder than a 20 but awesome

Similar to face climbing at araps. Nice change from the usual ben crack warfare.

After fighting a mountain of choss i finally called it and bailed near the top after doing my best impression of a bongo player on the big triangle which would've needed all four points on it. Not my finest moment, but also not a good route

Awesome exposure and cool moves to boot, last pitch for the trip after a mess on the 14

Engaging and beautiful in equal measure. Fairly cruisy start to a spooky and incredibly unlikely looking traverse. Thought it would ease off but the runout groove kept me on my toes the whole way to the top.

Was a wet adventure today, feels pretty dirty too, does anyone climb this? Felt a lot harder than 14 but may have been due to me having to dry/clean every second hold.

Aptly named as I was continuously surprised by unlikely good holds. Double ropes recommended as the route zig zags a fair bit. One of the better 20s I've done for sure.

Bit wet and icy. We set our belay station past the roof section. Roof was super exposed and awesome! Walked around to descend

Really cool route! Really sporty movement for being 100% trad. Crux is hard to read and hard to execute and runout (above really solid gear though).

Made it clean to the crux and had a few falls before figuring something out.

Amazing, technical line with very run-out gear. But certainly worth while if you don’t mind delicate moves on run-out gear. Recommend placing hex in notch higher before traversing left onto face.

pretty messy up top. great climbing for first 2/3rds. advise a small number of micro cams and nuts for the finish. still comes with messy deck potential.

Repeat while we waited for the crag to dry. A bit of a sandbag but good fun.

Amazing pitch. I almost pumped off when I went in the wrong direction through the first steep bulge, then hesitated and climbed up and down for ages in the corner before the traverse. It looks so ridiculously unlikely that I couldn't convince myself that it was the right way to go, but when I finally committed it was much easier than it looks. Thanks Nate for patiently belaying me for so long.

Started late in the day for an introduction to Ben Lomond. Unfortunately the rock was seeping, but some parts looked dry so gave it a go. Some good stemming moves at the start which somehow all the crucial ones were dry. An amazing layback on the sharp triangle but getting over was tricky due to the wet moss, which also made some of the cams slip.

Was initially going to take one of the crack exit pitches but they were incredibly wet and after pondering for a while, went on an adventure to the left hoping it would be easier but this lead to some hard moves above a RP and then a final push above minimal gear on another wet crack.

Looks like some awesome finger cracks at the top if it was dry!

Top Rope Lap on this Project. Clean 1st go. Definitely gr24. Rather bold, but not dangerous. I need Gerry to Send this so I can score the true tick (he offered me an attempt at the FA, but having been on it, I think its too good to take from Gerry after all his effort on it). Ludicrously steep, with some extremely insecure hard stemming leading to outrageous steep climbing up an overhanging fang of rock. 3 stars for sure.

Bloody great route... not much to look at from below, but absolute quality within. Incredibly steep for Ben Lomond. Fun stemming start, big moves through steepness, airy and intimidating traverse into more stemming, then another airy traverse onto an arete followed by an enjoyable finale. Very worthwhile.

Awesome route!! A tad lichen stained at the start and probably loses a star for the big lower ledge. Amazing laybacks on sharp edges, good gear, with some interesting route finding.

Width of the initial crack too wide for small feet and hands. Tried laying back but way too strenuous. Plan to find a way to overcome crack section without climbing it like a crack... possible?!

Intimidating move half way up over triangular flake from stance on narrow ledge, ran low on gear and didn't fancy the fall so downclimbed. Not be be underestimated, not comparable in grade the the 14 westham at the gorge

We climbed out up the steep gully above in light rain and darkening to find an interesting move or two high.... really great adventure scrambling with impossibly high slender black pillars framing the narrow view down and out - from another time!
