Ascents in Mr Big Area

Needs clarification for top moves, if using arête with right hand only I would say it's spot on 20. Direct or left hand finish I would put at 23, incredibly desperate! Thus, I worked on the left variant for 30 min with no success. Right hand on arête no problems.

Destroyed my finger on the small sidepull early on. Disappointed.

Fun and stiff last move lockoff yeeeeew.

I do rather enjoy this climb. Went right on the arete at the top.

Extremely difficult following the line after the last bolt. I abandoned it and went up the arete. Wendy seconded and sort of laybacked with one hand on the arete, maybe that's the move...

Good climb, couple technical moves

Repeat, originally attempt was a flash. Fun climbing, but difficult (and grossly contrived) to avoid placing your right hand and right foot on the arete at the top, especially since doing so still positions your body directly over the bolted climbing line. I'd call it an easy 20 and say that using the arete is in, provided you don't retreat to it. An okay climb, all in all.

Got lost on the last move and started again. Heaps of rests!

Had to sneak out to the arete because of a carpet python at the crux

Direct line at final bolt felt impossible. Stick right and use arete to climb the 20.

Had to have a few goes at the crux. Awkward and strong move on tiny diagonal edge near the top. wasn't sure if I was meant to use the arete so went direct.

I dunno. That last move? Use the arete and it's way under the grade. Stay to the line and it's a total sandbag. Is the 20 just an average of the two?

Could not work out moves after clipping last bolt??? Bailed to honey rider arete to finish made it easier than 20
