Ascents of Big Wednesday

I wandered up the wet start of the route, pondering my life choices and lamenting my terrible skin, but when I arrived at the first dead point I found the only thing in my brain was pure stoke. Landing it felt pretty sick. Then another couple of big moves into what I assume is a little bit of a crux(?). Was very confused here on my first time up. Tried throwing with my feet left, using a shitty slopey edge over right to then maybe bump for the big side pull (I hope it’s big) that’s even further right. This was impossible. My ape index would need to be perhaps another metre and that right sloper would need to magically transform to a jug. Next time up the route, stoke remained high, beans were low. Nearly couldn't get through the deadpoint below. I then figured the cruxey bit after should probably be done going right hand into a small undercling, foot over right and then left hand to the shitty slopey thing and then right hand to the amazing(?) right side pull. This is yet to be confirmed. Had a wonderful time would love to get on this route again.

Warm upon it, walked back to the van , cooked a steak and eat it, back to the crag , a bit of music in my pocket and that’s it, find myself dancing on the way up. Send it in 4 days within 4/5 years .

Did the moves. The start is very gross and wet currently. Fun but not particularly inspiring.

First hold was seeping and the draws are getting a bit rusty. Straight nasty crux pulling and roof romping with some sick big moves

It only took me 4 years to send this one! Had one session on this back in 2017 but no luck. A second session with some kneebar skills and potentially more experience lead to a top on the 3rd go of the day. Super happy get to finish this one!

gave that a play and surprised myself with having to pull only through the crux move - the rest is totally doable. Some day..

First 8b! A long time coming.

Just a little play because the onions start had more traffic the parramatta rd at peak hour. Climbed up to the crux, had a few attempts but could latch the sharp jug after the bird bath.

Had a good go at this in 2008 when Jarmylla was working it. Found a couple of the moves low percentage for me, but would like to get back on it one day soon.
