Climbs Paper Tiger and then steps into soft crappy rock with lots of bolts.

Very nice route. well bolted now. fixed hangers and 3 carrots.

either we missed something or you need to be able to climb the offwidth which we found hard...oh boy

Not the best route around. I had to go in hard at the last hanger to get some bolt plates sent up...

Hard, No bolt plates so finished on anchor to the left :-S

Last climb of the day and my hands were a bit cold for the start of this which is fairly tricky for a 19 I felt. The carabiners at the top are almost rusted through so be careful!

Sandbag. Not good for a warm up

Be warned: needs 3 bolt plates (guide wrong), anchors look good but carabiners on them look dodgy, and it's a bit old school and funky with some sandy rock. I backed off, Jara did an amazing job of arm jam and laybacking most of the way before realising the need for bolt plates and did a Houdini act to get down again (mad boy). Reportedly a bit stiff for 19 even with trad dad tactics, but doable if you are willing to think outside the box a little.

Take 3 bolt plates!! Fixed hangers disappear without warning and the carabiners on the anchors look dangerous. Got to the last carrot (without bolt plates - 9m runout) and had to retreat to a ring on the next line over. Not a choice I recommend unless your feeling calm. Cool climbing but probably best to top out.

I doubt you can climb this as an eliminate (avoiding the retrobolted crack) at grade 19. Even with the crack the start was rather hard, but the climbing gets better as it goes. An okay climb. Don't forget the bolt plates!

A long reach around the 4th bolt - a bit tense for a little while. Probably not 19 ????

painful fist jamming at the start.

When climbing an arrete requires fist jamming! Pretty gnarly start up to the 4th bolt, stiff at the grade! Overall very good climb, deserves at least one star and more traffic

Stars! Fun old-skool start mostly climbing around the crack with an arm/leg bar or two. Tricky onto and then up cool insecure arete to the top. Really pleasant and climbs different every lap.

Little thrutchy

Not a fun excursion... humbling to say the least! The climb aside, I wasn't aware of the rusty KB warning beforehand so abseiled off instead of lowering. Felt pretty sketchy, personally I wouldn't recommend climbing until somebody with the knowledge to cut them off and replace them can do so.

Pretty dirty, had to rap in to collect our gear we used to lower off upon discovering the rusted beaners...

anchor is extremely rusty. decided to traverse and clean from the anchor of nothing

Hardest 23 ever! way harder than Lyptus. Don't do it in direct sun at 30degrees! Like I did

Thin, hard, sustained

Now 24 and deservedly so. Several hard technical sequential sections on thin wearing edges.

From the 2nd bolt up this is a classic "sustained, hard 22" Mt York face climb... But I have no bloody idea how to get from the 1st bolt to the 2nd bolt at grade 24. Sandy and sharp.

Old-skool (cough) 23. Would've been a giggle on the carrots. I wonder if it's worn away/got harder or we've got softer or need to find all the sequences. Diagonally past 1st bolt just seems wrong. Went up and traversed hard right which was cool. Cross-through, right foot, sustain, heartbreaker crux.

Some pretty hard moves. Nearly flashed, but peeled off up high when I broke a hold

Hard start, had to crimp way harder than expected, after that is lovely sustained slimping

broke off three(3) footholds in the first five(5) meters. Super uninspiring climb. Might be worth a star or two if you like pain and sloppy crimps

tried to escape from next to nothing into nothing. also couldnt get up this. felt very disapointed because i can often get up 27s and sometimes onsight 24, and now i couldnt even go up the 24

couldnt get up. didnt find or trust holds at all. same for nothing
