Ascents of Aesthetic Images as various tick types

Draws were on so had a play, stiff for the grade but amazing climbing..

Spent a bit of time working out short person beta for the start crux, so I have it if anyone wants it (maybe hard V3), then dogged my way to the top to put the draws on (which was kinda scary with not much chalk and some moss). Second go I had one fall on the very last move of the crux after making an absolute meal of my sequence but holding it together only to fall off a few moves later. Through the crux to the top after that. Will be back before I forget all the beta. (x2)

Hardest 25 in Bluy's?

Was probably going to do allehal, but it couldn't do the last move of this starting sequence and stick the ledge, need short person beta. The pockets etc were all ok but a very high left foot back step kept pushing me off the ledge despite giving me the height.

2 more laps. 1st was a debacle trying to clean and chalk the holds (and remove a wasp nest from the crux hold), and deal with the hideously stupid equipping. 2nd shot I fell off reaching for the jug that finishes the hard climbing (with just the easier top face section to go) at the 2nd last bolt. One day I'll get around to ticking this

The general bolt spacing on this is exciting but okay (though the weird mix of original carrots and spinning fixed hangers held in by either glue-in carrots or new non-stainless bashins is a joke, especially considering the glue-in anchor at the top), but the death-runout start to the 3rd bolt is unforgivable. I will rap-in to put the gear on moving forward, I can't be arsed having the equipping epic again.

Was a big disappointment. Super hard start which ended with two very bloody knuckles. Then a scary dangerous traverse to a bunch of random wires and a bad cam before clipping some very rusty glued in non stainless bolts with stainless hangers. Massive run outs up high unless you clip the old carrots. Bailed after falling and hitting a ledge at the 5th bolt. Zero psyche to get back on this..

Shut down by the nails start. Not sure how to do this? Crazy that this is also the start to Alhelal (24). This wall looks incredible.

Wow! Might be one of the best routes I've ever been on! About 1.5 grades harder than Toyland Direct. Absolutely stunning! Demanding and unforgiving, technical, pumpy, thin-as face climbing that doesn't let up until the anchors. 2 shots. On my 2nd I had 1 fall at the 3rd last bolt and "belaying difficultties" led me to grab the last draw to clip before continuing on. I really hope I can tick this next time, because -for me- this would be as memorable a climb to send as any I've done.

OMG so so incredible, the best 25 at cosmic. Better and harder the toyland and so worth the effort. The start is nails with a two finger pocket match and switch. A must!!!
