Man, talk about a heart breaker. Everything felt perfect but the heel hook popped on the last move and I botched it. Bugger.

YEEEEAAAAHHH! First shot today. Good temps, sendy breeze had arrived, psyched.

Linked to same spot, faff dialled. Need to link from double knee to top for this to feel doable. That will be the goal next visit.

Always feels easy when they finally go. Felt strong! The improved beta and nice conditions really helped too!

Hanging draws and inspecting. Really straightens up the Troglodyte line, and nicer climbing starting on Plonka. Some cool new moves to link up with Troglodyte pitch 2.

More stick clip draw hanging.

Tough move up high I still didn't manage, but have done all other moves. Mega pumpy and the smoother rock was a bit slimy today in the clouds. Made a large skin donation when I did a superman cut and whip off a jug!

Figured out the crux move, cool!

Working on making links from the top of plonka.

Did the top section in one sit before the crux. Will be super pumpy on link, need to keep chucking laps to get that route fitness going!

Very very cool proper horizontal roof climbing. Done all the moves and made some decent links.

Day 2 on, felt weak but found some good micro beta.

Had some frustrations with a particular draw that was out of reach even when extended. Managed to solve it by slinging it to another draw moving it closer. Managed to link from end of plonker to the big cut loose, then the cut loose to the top so for day 3 in the cave it ain’t too shabby.

Best route in the cave imo. Year long proj finally went down. 7 very spread out sessions

Fell at the last hard few moves again. However figured out some higher percentage beta so keen for next time

Well... sort of: I actually had a silly foot slip while in the anchor clipping position, and pulling up rope for the anchor clip. Um... I mean: victory whip? Right?

Seriously though, if I get a chance some day, I'll improve the style on this one. But for now, I'm content that I met the challenge.

Awesome, but demanding. Very varied climbing, and steep as hell up a beautiful prow feature. Dynamic and tension-y. Hard at the grade.

I was pretty happy to get some mega links on my 2nd shot (linked to the crux throw), and to refine my beta for the following moves.

I'd love to come back to this one, but I need to be prepared to leave my draws on it, because equipping it (and unequipping it) sucks.

Not quite the warm-up I was after. The guide says 22. Not sure if it's 24, but def' not 22.

Quite nice climbing. Got to anchor on BLM before falling on second shot. Not sure its 26 though.

Awesome feature and line. Finishes off with a dyno to a sloper, after a long roof traverse.

Done about 3 years ago. Ok to blm anchors. Moves beyond that were part of original route and cruxier
