Ascents in Cairns

Awesome prowl with great moves packed into a small boulder. Great heel hooks, committing last move. Worth the walk just for this problem

Short and powerful!

Classic problem of the area on classic block. Fun roof climbing for start

Had previously done problem from the end of the traverse in 2015. New start on the R makes for a nice, obvious and full problem. Really awesome line! Mantle is a little committing off of slopey lip.

Awsome problem super hot humid and slick all make for a tropical climb

Couldnt get the last move through the crimpy slopers to mantel. Footers offered no help so super powerfull i think i need beta help

Done without shoes as i ran out of skin and energy to bring the mat over and try the v5

Fun traverse

Great features. Climbs really well. Top out seems harder until you find the jug

Originally trying to make big move to slightly higher but better jug out R, but found going to smaller hold directly above was easier. Fun first move and elegant finish. Downclimb is a pain in the arse

Surprisingly nice line with great heel/toe hooking, feels smooth. Top out a little awkward

Start a bit tricky with the rock behind you. Initially trying first move as a dyno/deadpoint without luck. Static was the go! Be cautious of one of the top out jugs past the lip, doesn't look too solid.

Worked and sent on top rope solo a few times. Crux is last move, scary deadpoint that I have missed on roped attempts. Now to gather many pads and send off rope. Going to be a pretty bold problem

Layback moves feel powerful. Really like this line, great moves. Need to add a lower start

Another instant classic. One of the first lines I saw that really caught my eye and got me psyched, it had to go. Easy, but nice moves down low on bomber holds. Crux move is high and committing. Such a beautiful big boulder, especially in the late afternoon sun where it glows gold.

Balancy and a little delicate, really nice! Mantle feels a little tough. Crux matching the small crimp scoop

Progress! Finally getting arse off the ground and throwing for first move. A while away from sticking it yet. Figured out the rest and have linked from 2nd move into the stand start. Stoked on this problem!
