Ascents in Egg Cave

Seems a lot harder the 15.

Pitch 1. alright once all the moss was cleaned off.

Pitch 2. Boulder problem then basically finished.

Pitch 3. Nice slab to climb to finish.

If it was grader according would be a lot better. 17,17,13 more like it.

Had to clean moss away on the first pitch, didn't try again from the ground.

First pitch felt the hardest, second comprises of a v3 style boulder problem at the start.

Third pitch was a little bit of an intimidating slab for me.

Was a fun little adventure.

Not sure how the grade is 15, when the description says 17,17,14...

Scary loose death flakes

Popped a brittle flake off the first pitch, hasn't made it too hard..

Excellent balancy moves down low, then powerful crimping up high. First chipped hold is just out of reach for me- had to pull on the draw to reach it. Fourth bolt would be better off a bit lower, then it'd make a nice sport climb.

Can't get past the fourth bolt now the flakes have come off - tried a couple of different approaches. Then again, I couldn't get past the fourth bolt back in 1996 either. Third bolt should be 30cm higher.

Seriously affected by the fires and dangerous in current condition. Needs a top-down clean of loose flakes and new bolts.
