Ascents in Slider Wall having Beta

Reach made it not too difficult for me

Not sure where we ended up climbing but it wasn’t slider wall

But our estimated grades were about 19/20 So logging these just for the log??

Also not what we did (see other comment)

Actual route was 5 FHs with double ring anchors on the right, with some very cool holds and body positions. Would actually be really good if clean. 18-19?

This was not the climb we did but it was on a wall 50m (at most) right of slider wall and there’s not enough routes listed here but still want to log something (even as a placeholder).q

Route we did; 19-20? Undercut featured start with side pulls on the right and crimps on the left, 4 bolts straight up then 5th a bit to the left and a mega run out to the anchors. 22m or so?

Got on it thinking it was Pigsy. Oh well....got to get the send on this now.

So fun. Crimpy crux feels brutal towards the end when pumped

Absolute mega classic

Red point attempts, fell off end of crux first go, then tried to clip too early second go and didn't have a draw haha. Felt amazing to get the crux move dialled- it's eluded me for so long.

Really fun! Need to practice the moves at the top

Such a good climb! Fun moves the whole way. Got higher on each attempt and was fully in the zone for the send

Pumped out an took a sit at the last draw. Though the incoming rain cut my daydreaming short and I had to scurry up to the anchor.

Yikes.

Redemption. Afterseeing Hanka crush it I was convinced to have another dig. BIIG move but once you have that figured out everything else is OK.

Blew it at last bolt, but higher this time. Next time will try the undercling beta

Very smooth and solid holds. Was starting to pump out when I fell into a nice body wedge to clip Anchors!

Cool climb. CLimbed it cleanly up to just before the 7th bolt but got too pumped to continue.

too crimpy for me. Could barely get to the first bolt

Didn't see the good holds in time on the onsight haha. Great route. Proud of my effort on less than my favourite style

Was a challenge as a true onsight (no chalk on the wall) yet crux felt easier for the grade using a very positive crimp to the right. I suspect this is the "addition" due to the rock scaring.

Misjudged in the dark how wet the second half might be. Dropped the onsight but excited to have a proper go sometime when dry.

Getting draws back for young Jack and his dad, Guy. Got reacquainted with the moves, didn't feel as hard as I remember it being. Excited for send burns.

Really proud of my progress on this. Climbing much more confidently now First attempt after a year, fell off the first crux crimp, pumped. Second attempt clipped the crux draw off the top of the plate. Didn't commit to bumping to the side of it and regretted it instantly.

Start boulder problem felt impossible but I finally worked out the top beta >>
