Ascents in Amnesty Wall Area

Pwoah! Incredible and super tough at the grade. Note to future frothers - Bring sling that you’re happy to leave to rap off chicken heads up the top... the existing sling is ancient and shouldn’t be trusted.. The other option is to solo off the cliff and that’s not so nice. Also climb right out of the crack at the orange break with sharp jugs. Continuing up the crack left will lead you to an impossible sloping ramp. I had to downclimb these moves and made things much harder than they needed to be. Big gear - 2 x 5’s and 2 x 6’s. Could easily use 4 of each to make things easy though.

Flash. Had a hard pull on a small edge. Wires at the top are not necessary.

No need for the R. This is a great route.

This is a great route. Gear between 1st and 2nd bolt seems like the go. I finished up the last bolt of route to the R as the top was wet.

Should be called ‘strife and stars’. Start is very committing. Glorious climbing after the second bolt

Crux is complex if you’re under 170cm. Otherwise a really nice route.

Easy climbing to the half way break, then it's on until the chains. Took a few burns to unlock the crux, then it went first pop.

Nice one but I had different goals this trip. Can’t wait to get beck on it

I got quite pumped; probably a looong belay and a cold weather had something to do with that 😉Good route!

Got 3/4 without fall. Worked out issue. The crux is mental up the top
