Ascents in Mt Fox Area as Attempt

High point !!!!!!! Fell 4 moves away from the top!

not so good burn after waiting for 2 hours. Maybe I am a one shot pony.

Clean through the drop down! Fell off the next move

Lowered at crux.

A couple of shots at this. could only get the crux out once, after a rest. Then fell after heading too deep into the cave on my way to the anchor. lowered off and never got through the crux on any further attempts.

Could go past the bouldery start

Bit of a play at the start boulder. Too short to do the powerful span past the crux, too tall to bouldery it out with the shorty sequence.

A quick EOD lap to get the draws back. Didn't try the start, and bailed just below the moves to gain the headwall (after taking 2 upside down falls where my leg got caught behind the rope - I get really confused on this sort of horizontal climbing). If I could climb the grade, this would be at the top of my list. More varied, and unique than Eye of the Tiger (though I'm not complaining about THAT mega route), with some pretty exciting horizontal roof-bouldering sections, and funky 3-D climbing along varied roof-features. Super-psyched just to have had a play on this beauty.

Really happy to have made it to the crux clean but took another huge whipper and couldn't get back on

Awesome!!! Made it past the crux (with a lot of hangs) but took a big fall at the lip and couldn't get back on. More tomorrow!

Someday I'll come back to Australia and take this route down. I usually don't log ghosts (got to the last hard move and ran out of gas!), but this is something special. The boulder problem through the roof and out of the lip is out of this world, probably would even be an outstanding boulder problem if it was sitting in the ground. I have my eye on you!

Got through the first crux but couldn't get any further

Not sure if this tuff unit is the best 27 in the grampains but it is good. Got up the the crux but in shit conditions it was proving to hard to climb past so a bailed. Next time..?

Did the traverse start and the roof again but no dice on the crimpy end >

Fell at crux

Great traverse to arete and up but could not clip bolt or do move to it! Bolt too high for me and probably many others as it's a hard (23-24)committing move above average gear!Wandered over to Finger Sighs clipped that bolt and then went up to top.

It's now 2018 and i think i might've sent it but.....? So attempt it'll be labelled until ........
