Felt way harder today. Made some progress on beta today but still can't figure out one move from the 2nd to 3rd bolt. 60% humidity wasn't helping the smearing.

Hanged the draws in the dark and brushed the key holds. Had a foot pop and didn't even make it to the crux.

Tried the moves going left of the second bolt a few times with the bolt clipped - couldn't stick them. Seemed like a very high left foot to stand up to a 2 finger crimp? Pretty heinous. Didn't finish as was absolutely manky up top, which was the case for all the climbs today.

Felt an improvement in my footwork on this one. Went a bit to the right then came across for the mantle. Gave the dyno a shot later, almost got there. Defs returning to this one.

Tried it for about half an hour but couldn't get past the second bolt. I was starting to think it must be uber hard but then Shaun did the crux without too much trouble. Turns out you just need to be taller

Thought I was on NUT, got past the crux without too much problems then flipped out on the "challenging headwall". Got to eyeline with the last bolt but could not clip. Took a big fall and called it a day. Next time.

Lead up to the last bolt just to check the crux moves out then thought 'screw it, I'll go for the onsight.' One big whipper later and I was safely on the ground again. Gonna try the top rope next time!!

Top rope attempt not sure what is in or out, i.e. the ledges just to the left of the arete, or the side pulls higher up. either way cool start but then very hard.

Feeling good at the wire placement only to find that a inconsiderate previous ascentionist had left the head of a large RP welded in there sans cable. This is a little annoying because it ruins the experience (placement) for the next person. Buy a hammer + cold chisel from Bunnings and knock it out, if you can afford RP's you can afford to clean em!

After three falls, I climbed it using the hanger as a foot hold. Found crux very hard at night? Used toe hook. After first bolt is hard too.

Didn't have a bolt plate and tried to clip roof hanger with a run out from the last FH and ended up taking a whipper from the roof to the first bolt. Scary.
