Ascents of Tiger's Tail as various tick types

A bit pumpy for the grade.

It's cleaned up a lot in the intervening years. Pretty pathetic effort. Got stuck at the 4th bolt.

Found myself searching for holds the whole way up. Not sure if I was missing them, off line, or if it was a genuine slow slab route. Wouldn't get back on it unless it was confirmed that I was off line or missing holds... very possible.

Too tired. 2 rests I think.

Spaghetti arms. Couldn't make the bulge.

Made it! With a couple of rests. First time on rock in 6mths or so.

Left wrist collapsed. Got as far as the 1st bolt.

First Lead in a while - 3rd or 4th bolt in a nasty position for a comfortable clip. Wussed out.

Surprised myself by getting to the top.

Couldn’t see last bolt and pooed my pants.

Started to rain

Nor this one.

Very deserted there this morning, only 4 groups.

Slowly getting back on my "feet". :-/

Have never enjoyed this route. Nasty run-out on lead. 3 falls I think, I was pretty pumped after Dysentery Direct.

Not at all a Grade 14 - got to the 4th bolt and could not find a way up on lead - seems like the bolts are missing - they are very much z clipping the whole way up

Managed to take a tumble from just shy of fifth fh. Bit of skin off. Thank goodness for helmets!

2nd clean: Dave lead it. Still found it incredibly hard for a 14 at the 4th bolt. 20.11.04 I really wanted to onsite this one, but it humbled me. Most of the holds were sand covered slopers and I pumped myself out getting from the 3rd bolt to the 4th & again to the 5th. Susy belayed. Very humbling indeed after onsiting 17s at Paparazzi, 18s at Tinbeerwah & doing a 200m 15 last Sunday & a 255m 14 on Wed. (Part of the reason I pumped out so quickly.)
