Ascents in The Sunny Side

I found it really good! Nice technical moves on good crimps. 3 stars for me!

A hidden gem of the gorge. Technical and hard finger locking and jambing with no faceholds except for a rounded arete. Awesome gear, a little tricky to place at the start and finishes up some classic gorge spikes and drill holes.

Very fun movement. Nice being longer to span between the aretes

Got scared of the dirty top out. Clipped a draw on our fixed rap line that was hanging conveniently close.

An epic route, the flake is incredibly disconcerting but the moves are awesome. Just made it with some desperate dynamic moves in the top finger crack.

With the right beta, this is less height specific, but definitely reach the way I went.

Bit run out for my liking, I placed 2 bits of gear to protect the top. Classy moves.

Really surprised at the quality of this line due to the distinct lack of traffic and easy access. Definitely worth a visit

What a line! So unbelievably stoked about this!!!! And very glad Scott pulled the rope on me so I couldn’t top rope it first 😆 Definitely easier for smaller hands

Great committing starting moves followed by pleasant moves. Finished up arete instead of super easy chimney.

Awesome and underrated route. So much character and variety

Amazing and terrifying. Awesome position and great moves well above some very small gear

Now has 3 bolts instead of 1 carrot. Can safely go ground up now.

A stellar gorge climb. One of the best gorge routes, classy movement the whole way and made better with Ian (the first ascensionist) yell out from accross the river after I pulled the crux.

Excellent movement. Shame about the height, just enough holds to make it quite easy but with no other options

A little confusing and scary. Some great moves at the top.

Cruxy start. Middle section was fun and the top crack was great despite the sharp rock inside the crack.

Great hard layback problem. The flake at the slab looks terrible but felt solid.

Best line of the session. Quite enjoyable, especially if you go up the arete up top

Classic gorge climbing. Packs a lot into 10 metres. Was very glad to find the good RP to protect the weird cruxy bit.

Really good!! One of those routes where everything is just right where it's meant to be.
