Ascents in Mansion On The Hill

Trickier than it looks!

Brutal, fell unclipping a directional. Still super precise feet and body positions through the crux but easier (possible) once you unlock it.

Nice but short.

Pinged off the start onto a small wire, swung, and kicked Hayley right in the guts.

Much less eventful. Mostly on small wires because I don't have any tiny cams.

Nice climbing on a cool looking piece of rock.

Stuck the first move with Nicko’s beta, which made my day!

Tough..one giant boulder problem really. Great moves when you get them right

Finally stuck the move off the ledge. Carrots and draws pre-placed

Just buggered up the crux. The rest is fun!

Some good jamming, tips through fists, but overall I didn't enjoy this. Not sure why.

Climbs better than it looks, pocketed slab into rounded laybacks

Wasn't totally sure which crack it was meant to be, so I did a lap on each. Both easier than 21. LH narrowing crack climbs harder at top, RH crack easier but more consistent with perfect chicken wings.

Note to self: 'bouldery' means minging crimps. Painful start, then a couple of ok moves and easy top-out.

More moss than rock, but a few nice moves while joining Missing Josiah

Great little crack, wish it was longer and a bit further from other features.

A few fun moves, but would need to be careful with gear as the rock on the LH side of the crack at half height is about ready to come out.

Great jamming, even with very raw hands.

Worth doing. Standard hangers fit. The crack at the start is great, into a hard move off the ledge.

Felt way too hard for 22 could not move past first bolt.

Very fun. Only took nuts but a small cam would have been nice at the top crux

Fell the first time and felt very close to pinging off again the second time.
