Just the first pitch then bailed off the ASG anchors as it started to rain and hail. Nice climbing.

hahaha what a sandbag second pitch is solid at 23 (maybe harder) and first pitch solid at 21. very good climb though, spicy moves with rope cutting potential are the only thing stopping this from being classic

Kinda wierd climbing! a nice mix of styles for a sport route. Little spice in parts.

Pretty well as described route finding left and right but nice features and moves.

Intricate crux at about third height for me that was quite enjoyable. A bit stop/ start from half height

Good route, a bit dirty, but would clean up easily.

Spent a long time psycing up to commit to climbing past the rp.

It is run-out, just like the guide says. Not much point in taking anything other than a .75BD. Would be really good if it was three times as long. Probably a little soft for a pipes 20.

Thought it was more 19, one hard move then it's all over. Bring microcams (c3 no.0) which will be useful at the crux, but if you haven't got one the crux should still be ok.

As one big pitch. Definately not 3 stars (more like 1 star), as it's rather contrived, extremely wandery and features sections of bad rock. Regardless, it's still very enjoyable face-climbing on gear in a "committing, and possibly dangerous" kind of way. While not technically that difficult, the crux moves at the bottom, protected by a single RP are thin and technical enough to get the old heart racing, and the upper sections are still very runout (though not ground-fall territory).

Actually a really worthwhile climb, well protected.

Heady climb, took me a while to commit to the RP move, which actually isn't too bad once you commit to it. RPs and microcams essential.

Pretty scary on lead, crux moves close to the ground. Moves on the route however are awesome fun in a very exposed position. Definitely run out in upper section.

You have to commit to a dodgy looking flake. Held my weight so guess its still good. Bring micro cams for crux.

Enjoyable moves the whole way, but as others commented, the difficulties are really confined to one sequence. Protection with small cam is ok if the flake stays attached.

Interesting enough, found it as tough as the other two, though may have been just reacquainting myself with the Pipes dolerite

Ballsy, initial crux is barely protectable, resorted to going left and pplugging gear into centaur and coming back and semi skipping some moves. another crux high up with some more RP goodness.
