Ascents of Abseil Wall

Slightly running it out on classy face climbing above good pods x3

Was worth abseiling over it first, really great climb.

Placed gear on abseil first. Would be a sketchy lead placing gear in the top half

Sketchy, didnt place a cam in the break before top out, because i ventured too far right. Anither good lesson in jamming for meg

Happy to top rope this one as there is little pro to protect the high crux and top out

Decent pro but as usual still pooped pants. I think I went too far left...

Could be made much safer with a couple of bolts towards the top

The moves after the crack were interesting especially on slightly damp rock.

Second warm up, much of the same.

Harder than it looks. More difficult than its neighbour Mode.

So glad I saved this for the onsight! Great line and climbing. Intimidating reputation, but the protection is good, really.

(GEAR BETA) First half has nuts and a cam or two, then red and purple totem cams are sinker at the crux, and a #4 Friend for the topout.
