Such an amazing climb, had a go working out the sequences. Easily one of the best climbs around, very solid at 24. Tim gave me a bunch of great beta and put the draws up.

First try worked the crux a bit couldn't do anything so pulled through, got the rest of the moves to the top without too much working

2nd go again tried the crux a bit more but no beans. Tried to go clean to the top but stuffed up the upper crux from watching someone else.

Made good progress on the crux, managed to get into the underlings a few times, couldn't get the one move up to the gaston/side pull. Went to the top clean afterwards.

Had maybe 6 or 7 attempts from the ground and couldn't stick the move again, super frustrating, didn't know what to do as it wasn't pumpy just felt like micro positioning on the same holds

Came down and had a final rest as it was getting dark. Stuck the crux super controlled and static then missed the bump to the crux and swore a bit then dogged to the top to clean so close but so agonising, closest I've come to tears climbing

One of the two climbs I came back for, loved it and thankfully got it. First burn I couldn't do the crux again, lowered off and changed shoes but left the second draw in expecting to work the move some more. Next time I somehow did the move and went clean to the top but I had a voice in the back of my head (@bestofthecrag) telling me it wasn't a legit send so I tied in again and clipped every draw as I climbed. Personally feels crazy hard for the grade but also have heard and can understand if you think it's easier.

Pulled every move until just after the crux first or second attempt then lowered off happy with myself, just needed to work out my feet but was feeling pretty tired.

Start of Stone Roses felt super dialled, the I was able to get one more draw bolt to bolt through some thin crimps and was pulling up on the matched hands, tried the high right foot and got it on but couldn't stick the right hand without falling backwards. Happy with how I went given it was my complete antistyle at my limit. Maybe try again in a few years when I'm stronger.

2nd shot today, last time I could not even do the moves, now it felt easy. 3/1/06 1 shot, have all the moves except for one. God damn that hold is sharp. 29/12/05 2 shots, spent the whole time working out how to do the first crux. This climb is hard.
