Ascents in The Fossil Cave as Attempt

Felt better and could do more moves than before but coming from the ground would be something else. Very cool moves on awesome rock.

Working high point. Couldn't do one of the middle moves that I did last time, grrr. But got the moves to the jug and up to the big scoop on the headwall. Funky beta off the jug worked a treat.

Pulling on jugs seemed like a good idea in the humidity, and it was. Fun route. Moves under the cave all turn out to be feasible. Got to the big jug out of the cave, great move, but could not keep the feet on to release the left hand.

Had a go at roof climbing, made it to the 3rd bolt felt very accomplished, no way I could get to the 4th

oh soooooo good. exploration of the jugs and will be back for more.

The starting traverse was exciting, especially coming out into the chimney with the classic head jam. Very satisfying when I finally made it up over the first bolt. Fell off several metres later though - damn those pumpy slopers!

cant make the move 5 to 6 ;(

Took a big fall at the jug at the lip, and couldn't be bothered bumping back up to try and finish it. Pretty cool roofing on mostly juggy holds (with some tricky foot movement). I think that this might go with a few more laps to consolidate, but I was just getting too tired. One for another day.
