Good to get back to this classic! The track is pretty wild, we put a cairn at the rough spot to turn off (abit N of the north mushroom rock turnoff) 300m downhill due SW gets you there. Or 150m down from hotwired. GPS: 35.598353° S 148.942927° E

What a time to be alive... Started off in the rain, waterfall dripping onto my shoulder and then into my shoes. There is no such thing as bad conditions... Just three absolute sends 🤙

First shot on lead - 3 shots in total after trying it a few years ago. Sent this in the pouring rain, although conditions felt perfect funnily enough. Was made even better by the quick back to back to back send train by Dave and Matt as the rock slowly become a waterfall. One of the more memorable outings and will leave a lasting impression of that climb for me

EOD in the sun, absolutely destroyed me to the core of my being - a mega classic day on the ridge with one of the best

First shot of the day! Fun, sustained climbing, The top was a bit of a fight though.

Pretty gutted to slip off on the onsight while adjusting a jam.

It's not too hard if you fight for the good jams, but the topout is tricky, and sharp.

Well it was all free with a number of rests. Got to half way before coming off ie mid crux. Top out very inelegant. Two goes and my hands were destroyed. Interesting but really sharp

Retrieving our anchor on scaramouche. Short but nice

Jam with care - the rock is spikey. A 5 star route - among the best in Canberra. Very technical jamming for the grade - cool sequence though. I'm looking forward to working this with Geoff and hopefully sending next session (denied today).

Excellent. Happy to get to the top without resorting to aid climbing. Seems approachable as a project.
