A small crag on the banks of the river, downstream from Kambah Pool. Visible from the grid/gate on Kambah Pool Rd. Plenty of afternoon sun and a nice spot for a swim. An okay alternative to Kambah Rocks.
The resident bees seem mostly active in the warmer months. Regardless, climbing routes give them a wide berth.
From Kambah Pool follow the Murrumbidgee Discovery Track north past the 2.2km marker. Look for the old half-burnt timber track marker a short distance after this (~30m) and, from it, walk straight towards the river - carefully over a steep loose step as you near the top of the crag.
There are sets of double-bolt anchors for top-roping. However, the single bolt placed several meters back from the edge should be used for a safety line and is not intended as a sole anchor.
Access the bottom of the crag via the wombat track to the left (while looking out).
