Gunner's Crags
Series of west facing cliffs near Georges River Nature Reserve. |
Cave One
The first large cave on the approach track to Gunner's Crag. Some bouldering potential and possibly a couple of short steep sport routes to do. |
Cave Two
The second large cave on the approach walk. Has soem lovly scoopy rock down low and blank looking stuff up high. Bouldering potential and a couple of possible routes on the right side. |
Gunner's Crag
The most substantial crag along this section of the Georges River. 12m high and 60m wide and overhangs by about 10 degrees. The cliff faces south-west and gets afternoon sun. |

★ Lock and Load
Orange streak on left side of the crag. Way harder than it looks! Finish with hands on top of cliff past anchors. |

★ Bacon Finger
7m right of Lock and Load. Stickclip first bolt then monkey across lip of roofleft from the left. Finish up orange streak on subtle pockets and edges to anchor under top roof. |
Project
No bolts (yet). Start up pockets through roof 2m right of Bacon Finger and climb wall above. Closed project - stay off. |

★ Line in the Sand
Left trending flake crack on right side of cliff. Steep and pumpy with a lot of desperate blankness for footholds. May only be grade 23. |
