Ascents in Alfords Point Bouldering having Beta

Not bad and not that hard. did it last year and its the best warm up at the point. ie not much at this cave worth travelling for cept these two

Good down low but dirty up on the head wall.

wicked pinch, just cant do the top for love gun. there is also a traverse that heads from the start of love gun and finishes up stringybark but roof climbing the whole way which is good. prob weighs in about an 8.

super sweet all a bit techo for me, but i'm just a thug

So Good. Spent a lot of time at Alfreds point 6+ years ago. Went back with Shay last weekend and almost did it. Back on Sat by myself to send. Freaked out a bit topping out.

1st did it via Love Gun exit in 2012. Did it via Stringybark Massacre exit in 2014. Bloody hard at V7 if you ask me, especially Humpathon via stringybark.

Best boulder problem thus far, and one of my proudest ticks. Warmed up on the top out x2. Executed using minimalist beta (cheers to Deco), which makes it feel about V5, but I won't contradict the developer's sequence or anybody who flashes the problem. Just a brilliant line...

This will go next session, gotta be fresh for the big moves on slimpers. Could make the stringybark start even more classic.

I need a few more inches of reach to make this sequence easy. Gonna take a fresh shot next visit. Adventurous finish would be an understatement, bring spotters.

Done many years ago. The best in the way of a warm-up at this crag, which isn't saying much.

Crimpy and hard. More difficult than Jetski Jerks in my opinion.

One of my first v6's back in the day. Big moves to good holds.

Second v7. Sent in 2008. Great rock, cool moves and a proud top-out.

My first v10. Sent several years ago. Majestic, powerful and pumpy. One of my proudest ascents.

Sent in 2009. Big moves to good holds.

Sent back in 2009. Finished via Love Gun exit. v8 in my opinion.

Knee bar makes the first move much easier.

Did this once back in 2009 and haven't been able to do it since. Hard IMO.

Getting down is a PITA. Done a while back.

Quick dusk session, might have to siege this.Got reacquainted with an okay sequence, and disproved the others to be certain. Very sustained.

Hopped on this not expecting anything, but good toe rubber on some new shoes and a strong right arm lock off, sent me through the crux. Good thing I brought my chalk bag...character building top out.

Probably the most strenuous move I have ever attempted. Very close.

Took a few go's. Very, very stoked. Great moves.

3rd shot. Should have been second but foot slipped at start nice climbing and fun top out

In approach shoes. Soft.

Great problem but concentrated on the love gun stand start instead for the session. Need to work out the footwork a bit better
