Really fun route, and a great introduction to finger locking!

A very very very very very very fun climb! Nice slab and face moves to start which lead in to a really steep and juggy finish. The rock quality is great, scoopy and featured but really soft on the hands. To add to the awesomeness it was bucketing rain most of the time we were in The Alcove and this climb was perfectly dry. From the ground I thought that the overhanging top might be a bit tricky for me but it was no trouble. However I really struggled with a low shouldery move which was my crux.

Spent a long time trying to figure out a sequence for getting up and over the first little bulge 4 bolts into the climb. It felt really shouldery which is definitely not a strong point for me. After many many many attempts I still couldn't figure anything out.

More time working the same little section over and over and over and over. I was super stoked this shot to finally found a way to do this little bulgy section which is about 4 bolts up. However, after plotting out my sequence and trying it about 30 times I only managed to actually pull it off once! Still I was happy to have a sequence that could work for me.

I was feeling very grateful that I spent so much time on my other goes working out the low bulge moves which were definitely the crux for me. Finally I managed to stick my sequence this time! No problems to the top, though honestly I was a little shaky clipping the anchors. I really wasn't confident that I'd work out those low moves today so it was super nice to get the tick.

Fun rest day activities, putting draws on for Elsie. This climb is one of my favorites. Bit of everything all mashed into one climb.

One of the best routes I've ever done. Too bad a coil ruined the send attempt at the anchors!

FFA. Eight goes, finally after doing do one hang shots. That dam sequence on the jugs has to be right or you waste vast energy in awkward positions.

Awkward moves, probably more in the 27 range
