Ascents in The Ridge

Interesting to see if taller people find alternative beta. Getting onto arete is tricky. The undercling I originally could use didn’t last very long so the pinch is hard for me.

Cleaned out the glue so now all the bolt plates fit, did the mantle at the top, decided there must be an easier way to do the crux but not much luck.

Managed the missing move, now have a to string it together

Not too dirty given its had no traffic for a year

Interesting boulder problem with a powerful heel hook. need to tick it before I shrink as already on tiptoes to reach arete

FFA. Not sure on grade, in the freezing conditions some holds felt better, but the slopes felt worse. I will leave it as is. Highly recommend placing bolt plates on abseil.

Climbs quite well, quite slopey

Good slab moves. Still thinking about bolts

Really interesting moves up a strong line

Will be better after it rains and makes it less dusty. Found it quite hard

Has some interest and variety of techniques, needs more brushing

The rock felt pretty sound given it looks crap just to the right

Feisty for its length. Hard to remove fingers from the crack down low, and reachy top section. Finishes with hands on top, too dirty to exit nicely
