Ascents in Sofia having Beta

Apart from being super dusty and the large amount of loose rock, climbing's fun. Having carabiners at the anchor is nice but having an anchor that doesn't twist your rope is 10 times nicer.

Uff! Amazing climb just not brave enough to do it on lead. Definitely with more trad experience the experience is wonderful.

"Id give it a 7a but after I did the roof boulder problem i ended up grabbing of the jugs of Triagalnika and i think those are not allowed.... Therefore 6c+ The upper part is AMAZING. such a 5 star route! Next time I go there Ill do it properly for the 7a

2nd Go

Real fistjamming - almost an offwidth style boulder problem. The first of that type Ive ever done. It feels so cool when you jam both fists and slowly edge yourself up! Loved this route! No idea how to grade it as I have zero experience with jamming.... if people say 6c - than it is 6c

With the right edge - 6a+ variation. Still there was a very weird move in the middle. great route!

Technical

no way 6a Super hard start even though it seems easy 5b afterwards. Didnt like it at all which is weird for this crag full of awesome routes

Athletic

Fantastic line! Must try! Also while i still clearly suck at cracks - im getting better! The first try i stepped on that ancient metal pipe so i went again and just climbed the crack! Maybe when i climb more on granite ill agree with the grade. Until then - 6b

Yet another outstanding line. Slabby thin crux. No need for THAT strong fingers I didnt need to full crimp. no way this is 6a+. 6b+ hard imo

Nice line. Weird crux. Powerful. Could be harder than 6b imo. TERRIBLE bolting at the top! why is the anchor so high up - ropedrag is massive and it messes up the rope!

Athletic

Recently added to the topo. Between Hari and Damski. Says 6c on the rock and I actually agree..smth has broken at the crux (bolt 2) and its a hard crimpy high feet sequence into a rly cool slab! Finish with a view

Soft and short. A few good moves to a nice view

Very weird crux. Overhang for the hands / slab for the feet liked it. Amazing view

Chimneying at its best! Love it! Solid line. Kominite has some amazing pitches in the easier spectrum.

Left of Vinkela. I did the first two pitches in one. When u see it it looks hard but it is quite ok. The 5c extension was way harder imo!! 3 cruxes to the top. Elements of offwidth at the end

Technical

Slab, layback, overhanging boulder with rockover and a nice run to the top. Whats not to like

Cruxy

Cool traverse. Slightly chossy at start and some hold felt mega greasy immediately after. Crux at starting meters. A bit of a power endurance imo. Felt rly hard for me mainly because I tried to rush due to the pump and couldn't find the best feet. Got pumped in my biceps Still id say not harder than 7a - weird style im not used to, on rock im not used to so it should feel hard for me.

2nd Go

VERY cool route! Athletic, powerful and with long moves! Rest after the crux like I like it Beta spoiler : After the decent rest jug halfway move left and into a fine kneebar and approach the final crux moves from left side. Wedge yourself in the shoulder killer after the crux this way it is easier than 7b i think because of the kneebar rest. Direct will be significantly harder than 7b Stay right after the rest in the cave - finish is actually not a breeze...

2 crimps, highfoot and its over. Felt nice
