Ascents in The Tiers

been awhile since i’ve had to dig deep on a route. 1-3 bolt is a awkward bolder problem. then a really awkward and very hard sequence to the 4th bolt. from there is like 5.9 jugs to the anchor. i would say it’s a pretty gnarly sandbag. very committing moves with micro edges for feet. one of my favourite climbs ever!

first climb in awhile, brought out the trad gear, this route has bomber placement and looking forward to the green point next week!

Great sustained route that builds in difficulty right from the decent rest in the vertical crack till the top. Safe falls up high.

rad warm up climb, nice crack/layback moves.

worked on this over multiple days, my current hardest climb. crux is in-between the 3rd and 4th bolt right before the route veers left along the arete, there was a good hold (its no longer) so expect a gnarly crimp sequence.

Spicy bouldery start. Into a committing yet elegant thin in cut crimp sequence that flows left and then right. Really enjoyable and challenging. It was pretty dirty with lichen.. all key holds have been cleaned. Stoked on the redpoint.
