This is nails indeed! Solid project. This thing is probably what a 5.12 actually looks like. Will pre-clip the dodgy piton on the redpoint attempt

All the moves on this one. Probably the hardest 5.11 in Squamish.

Gave it an inspection to suss out the gear. Will go for this one ground-up in future. It's hard but sequence-ey!

This route isn't really as bad as people say it is. It's harder than Crime but it's certainly not 5.12. 5.11c/d seems fair to me. Let's say stiff 5.11c.

TR'd a few times. 5.11a/b slab.

Route Name: The Magician - Squamish Select

First shot, foot blew at the crux after fiddling with gear. Second shot I cruised the route.

Second go.

Clipped second bolt from arete, then lowered down and did direct start past black bolt on penji-toprope. Also pulled up some cams before the flake, as was planning to climb The Leading Edge, but didn't feel like doing the runout to the second bolt.

With a couple of slumps on the rope, pretty tricky at the start. Couldn't do the finish directly past the last bolt, had to go left of vague arete.

Last climb of the evening, feet and core were pretty tired. Went direct past black bolt at start, got the moves after quite a bit of trying!

Slab is hard.

Onsight! Tricky with the gear on the sharp-end. Really intellectual climbing. Takes Aliens really well.

Didn't know the route, so started on the crack rather than the face, which likely made it easier than 10c.

I found this really really hard. A lot of the jams were an awkward size for me. Was struggling to master some new jams

Had to dig in quite deep for this. Doesn't require lay backing if you can jam well enough.

Quite a good route. A good crack down low with an enjoyable crux.

A 10m gong-show for grade-tickers! But some good moves I guess. Can't go wrong with a finger locking corner.

Fell at the same spot at the crux transitioning to the right crack. Found a good position.

First attempt to redpoint. Fingers are finicky and I put gear where I wanted my hands so failed
