Started up intending to do St Vitus' Dance, but got lured into the first pitch of this, and then into the rest of it from the ledge as well. Pitch 3 wasn't straight forward. Dirty, flared, discontinuous cracks made things pretty exciting. Finished up St Vitus' Dance from its pitch 4 up.

Crazy busy day, planned to do 'Long Time No See' but ended up on Calculus Direct to avoid a large crowd but still hit traffic at the top belay of the second pitch of calculus. Then headed up 'South Arete' (again to avoid the crowds). Then made our way up the last 2 pitches of 'Long Time No See' before heading back down.

Mediocre and hard start which leads to a cool, well protected flake, thin traverse and exciting crack to memorial ledge. Packs in a variety of styles in a short climb. Would have enjoyed it more if I didn't get the rope stuck in the flake though, so watch the direction moving into the traverse.

Used calculus crack to access the climbs at the top of the buttress. As this is one of the easier routes up I wouldn't recommend it as we got stuck behind a few slow parties - it's very busy. Definitely detracts from the climb waiting on the belays. Otherwise good crack climbing, P3 and P4 were the best.

Also messed up the 4th pitch and climbed above the belay point, although it did mean we were able to climb the final 3 pitches in 2.

Felt Stiff for the grade, but not excessively so. P3 is definitely the crux/money pitch with exciting moves and a bit of a desperate thrutching that gets the heart rate up. P4 and P5 have a few moves to get you thinking.

Took a double rack up to #3, and 1x#4. Plenty of placements, although the beta about saving a #3 for the third belay is good. Didn't feel like I needed a #5 at all.

Rapped to descend with a 60m rope.
