Ascents of Orangina as Red point

Another MEGA CLASSIC route which unfortunately is seldomly climbed, mainly because considered very hard at the given grade. Body tension on smeared feet and slopey handholds with a crux that is technical and powerful at the same time. I kept on falling at the last draw cause I was so drained to clip it. Three working days and probably almost ten attempts made for my first 12C. The line is so good that I’m sad it’s over so fast. Five stars for me

My first 12c. Thank you Ian 溫翊恩 for the encouragement to climb this route and patience belaying me. I went through the exciting process of working on it from the first touch when it felt impossible till the actual send. This trip to Yingxi has been amazing. Hope more routes will be opened in this area in future. Routes like Niuza or Orangina, which make people sleep and dream about going back on it the next morning

A highly aesthetic line directly up the middle of the cliff face, ascending picturesque white-grey mottled rock. Strenuous on fingers, body tension, and smeared footwork. I really had to reach; definitely harder for shorter climbers. The final bolt felt a bit sketchy to clip.
