Ascents in 驼背山 Humpback Mountain having Beta

Pretty fun multi pitch with a very short approach through a little forest, very close to the street. Linked p1/p2 and linked while rappelling p4+3 (1m downclimbing), and 1+2 with a 80m rope.

Got smashed by rain 20mins into the route. Sat in a cave and watched Borat. Then scootered home in the rain for a gym session

两段 5.10d 太值了。 下降千万小心，不要错过第一个保护站。第二个保护站在屋檐下，没法直接从顶部到 会挂在半空中. 之后 back-clip 下降最后记得打结。

现在下面在建高中岩场周围被围起来了，进去在一个小房子边上有个缺口能进去。 线路第45段很棒，1236段简单不太有意思。

The first two pitches are just bush bashing and moving up the wall. The third involves some fun stemming action. The next two pitches (left or right) are superb! The last is just some fun to the top. This route is sharp so make sure your hands are fresh! Rapping down can be dangerous if done incorrectly so make sure you are experienced or go with someone who is!

Climbed with Todd, Tomer and Navi climbed before us, we were going to top out and eat dumplings on the top together.

Easy and fun first 3 pitches. The fourth pitch was very difficult for me, slabby and exposed, I was scared the entire climb. When I finally got the the anchor I was so overwhelmed and mentally/fiscally drained... I look up and saw that there is a roof/big overhang on the fifth pitch. I just knew that it was above my limit, I didn’t have the fight in me.

Looking at Todd, I started crying. I knew Todd really wanted to go to the top, so I felt so bad when I told him that I didnt think I’ll be able to do rest of the pitches. He said it was ok and we ate dumplings (which we brought to eat on the top out) when we both were hanging on the anchor of the fourth pitch. It was for sure the best spot to eat dumplings, overlooking Yangshuo.

This multi pitch experience was very emotional. It was the first time I cried on a climb. I felt bad that I was the reason why Todd didn’t top out. But I think it was a smart decision to not push over my limit on a multi pitch.

After Todd and I got down to the ground, we witnessed when Tomer and Navi had epic when coming back down. That was so scary and terrible to watch. We waited for them to come down, in the dark. It took them 5 hours. When Tomer and Navi got down, I was so thankful and happy that they were ok! This whole experience made me a bit scared of multi pitch and I haven’t wanted to do another one since.
