Ascents in Wolfsberger Block

The shortest route here, not entirely trivial.

↓ twice (probably the easiest downclimb here).

Jahreerste: "In der Felsen noch so naß, die Jahreserste macht trotzdem Spaß. Sitzt man dann am warmen Ofen, ist der Tag gelofen"

Wonderful juggy slab, perfect soloing terrain.

↑↓ Must be some of the most pristine rock around.

bad protection and not easier after the 1st and only bold.

Great passage in the middle, easy but without protection (but probably lots of possibilities for nuts and slings) in the upper part.

Phew! Cemented pitons with shabby looking rings; chossy between the first and the second bolt; hitting the ground possible when approaching the second bolt; hard move from there to the third bolt; afterwards, two (good) slings through grassy and mossy rock (but fortunately no choss anymore). I don't know why, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Great dihedral in good rock. The difficulties are over at the second (or third, if you count the quite useless new one in the beginning) bolt.

Very different styles in this route. Nice dihedral (verschneidung) at the beginning. For me personally the crux follows in the block afterwards. Ledges (Platten) afterwards.

Exceptional rock quality, pleasurable climb.

Still not harder than 5. Wonderful solo terrain with reversible moves on good holds bottom to top.

Not as good as the neighbours, but also worthwile.
