Ascents in Aegean Islands as various tick types

Fell at the first crux and then sat there for ages figuring it out because I didn't want to fall there again.

First go, did find the hidden hold in the crux. otherwise all the moves were doable.

Wow... Such an amazing route that goes on forever! A must do. Fell at the second crux because I went the wrong way. Figured out all the moves, I was so flash pumped I found the biggest holds hard to grab.

Did all the moves and sorted out some rests, felt good but still epic!

Second shot, was in the last move of the first crux and just couldn't get that knee bar in. Sorted out the moves here.

Was so tired that i only made it to the 4th draw... hahaha

Slimmy holds and damp upper holds. Couldn't read the crux and fell due to wetness a little higher. Nearly had a no fall day.

Warm up run

Foot slip at the first crux, I guess if I was going to fall lower is better.

3rd shot... got through the first crux, just before the second crux I was trying to rest but couldn't find the correct kneebar. I just got more and more tired... high point but it would have been nice to fight for the send. This thing is solid!

After falling last time because I couldn't get the knee bar rest. I went up and sorted that and the top out.

Dropped it after the red point crux. Couldn't quite get that knee bar in.

Fell at the red point crux due to rope getting stuck under the tufa.. how frustrating!!! I was feeling super good.

Couldn't do the crux, was super tired so just had a play. Very nice route.

Some pommy chick called this ‘the best 6c in the world’. Big call, but it is excellent. Last route of the day, I messed up the first crux and pinged off. Got back on quickly and finished it. Quite sustained and committing. Awesome.

Introduction to tufa’s and stalactites for me. I fared well, being proficient in the dark arts (knee bars) but my fitness level is very low at the minute and I couldn’t wrangle a 3rd shot send. Might come back, great fun and the rest of Iliada looked gorgeous.

Wanted to place the draws and learn the moves for another go, but couldn’t bring myself to stop. Awesome, pumpy route. Onsight ended at the second (non-juggy) rightward traverse. Worked the top, rested. 2nd go I fell a few moves higher, never really recovered from the first 5 stars.

Unfortunately I got a bit lost at the crux and got gassed, what an awesome crazy route with multiple tufa blob seats! Need to think more laterally on these tufas I think.

Got lost/retarded in the top tufas and decided to sit rather than blow gaskets, amazing fun route.
