Ascents in Zeus & White Shark

Has a scary looking loose flake above the 3rd bolt. Can be done without it. Otherwise, apart from all the prickly bushes, the crux was really fun...in a crimpy sharp don't fall or you'll get cheese grated kind of way! Did I sell it for you???

Tried it the other day and sent today while putting the draws an. Might be soft, but it also is my kinda jam.

Freakin nails in the sun, so stoked to onsight this mega tufa. I was WAAYYYY outta there!

Super sweet, takes you all over the tufa, a mistake to tackle this one in shorts though.

Skipped the last draw with pump rush for heady finish on slippery footers.

7b in guidebook but 7a+ on the wall. I will go with 7a+ if I compare it with the other ones in the sector. But who gives a shit it is a really nice line !!

The first half isn't that flash to the ledge just easy gery slab moves. From the half ledge is much better blobby mini tufa climbing. Good warm up.

Pretty average climb. Clipping the anchors is awkward.

ledges look a bit dangerous. dont fall!!

Re-warm up lap, a couple of cool pocket problem sections but the ledges could be a problem if this was your limit.

Repeat. Glad they have added two extra bolts so you don't die if you fall off. Still not worth repeating.... (oh the irony!)

Bailed on this year ago as ledge fall potential freaked me out, good to put it away, much better with 1, perhaps 2? extra bolts added. Still not recommended though.

Kent convinced me to keep climbing up this extension just before the rain started. Sweet reachy pocket moves for as far as I got. I will be back to try the whole route soon when it's not raining...

Did all the moves this arvo and am looking forward to a bit of project time on this one. Sweet line of pockets and small crimps up the middle of this Stella wall. The three finger split pocket at the crux is tricky to get just right. Stay tuned!!

Sick biscuits, second shot today... Took a bit of a whip from the end of the crux first shot, solid the whole way on the send. I can't see how this used to be 8a, unless your short.
