Nodes in Aggtelek

Limestone crag in the heart of the Aggtelek National Park directly at the Aggtelek entrance of the Baradla cave. Climbing is strictly prohibited throughout the year and is only possible during the 3-4 days of the annual Aggtelek Climbing Festival (Aggtelek Kupa) see http://www.aggtelekkupa.hu/ - even the bolts are removed after the festival and the routes are "rebuilt each year". Anyhow, the crag features one of the most impressive and highest rockwalls in Hungary so it is definitely worth the visit.
