Ascents in Dalkey Quarry

A great route to rebuild shattered confidence, good varied gear placement

Looked dry from the base, was wet from half way. Took a pretty big fall on the last move, managed to get back on the horse and finish the climb. Good gear, plenty of it, fun climb.

not an overly safe one to toprope, but enjoyable.

Use two ropes, i went up on one and had drag. Simple climb, overgraded.

tried to finish up the borehole, couldn't make it, took the proper route (moving left) instead. I thought i'd cheated untill i read the guide.

Great climbing, short but woth it

Each move difficult and worthwhile, very very little gear, good news for the second, nervous lead though.

Borehole can be used for protection, but is better left as a handgrip, route's an excellent bouldering problem, the last section is just a severe.

Climb finishes through a gorse bush, you will eb picking gorse out of your chalk bag and back for hours.
