Nodes in Boulder Valley

An area with many single pitch crags spread across five large boulders all within walking distance of the campsites 8-10 of Spitzkoppe Rest Camp. All routes bolted with bolt distances usually between 1 and 3m. All routes equipped with double Rings (mostly rather small) at the top. Long drop toilets available near all boulders because of campsites. No water.

About 5min East of Dinosaur Rock. Huge huecos form the character of this rock different to any other climbing area at Spitz

First route on the left. A good introduction to slab climbing.

Easy beginner climb for teaching

Short and slightly chossy crack on the SW wall side of Elephant Rock. Anchors at the top.

Due west from Elephant Rock

Due west from Elephant and Rhino Rock.

A super unique line for the area! Steep route on the overhung wall at the T junction within the fractured corridor.
