Ascents of Weta Prowl

What an epic! Not entirely sure how on route we stayed but either way an awesome journey. The climb itself is probably easier than the approach and decent. The views from the top are amazing.

Really good adventure climbing, fantastic location and some ordinary rock at times.

Great climb! Highly recommend. 3 simul blocks to summit. Will definitely be back for other routes and Bruce Peak too.

A superb climb, with great movement up cracked slabs, protection is obvious and abundant, and the descent is straight forward. Recommend! Scramble the first 60m to a large ledge. We went up the small right facing corner but options are endless. Climbed the face in 4 pitches, with 2x 120m simul blocks and a short/airy scramble to the summit. Beware: the South Ridge descent is loose but quite manageable.

Great outing with Nick, some difficulty route finding lower down had us on some choosy pitches, which lead to much better rock and climbing higher up. Views from the summit were incredible!

Really cool route once you get up to the corner left of the prow. Can't speak for the bottom 4 pitches as we went into it without any info and did 4 pitches in the corner system to the right of the described route. This was pretty scary, loose and hard to protect, and maybe grade 15-16 moves to escape. "Weta heck are we going", 0 stars.
