Routes in Algarve for selected grade

Starts from the ground, make the traverse through the corner and once on the perpendicular wall traverse to the top.

Start with good hold for right and finger pinch for the left. Use bottom line of stone for footholds. Traverse to the right with two pretty good holds for change of hands. Once you are below the big part without any holds search a good position and reach out with right hand to a sharp crimpy hold high above. Another reach out for crimp for left high above. Take care, the crimps are good but surrounded by loose sandstone. Put foot high and climb over the edge. Done! Go early, late or off-season to avoid tourists.

From the obvious undercut, take a direct line up, using the large pockets until you reach the jugs for the top out. After topping out, don't forget to turn and wave at all relevant spectators!

Follow the crag towards the sea until it juts out before a ledge overhanging the water (far below). The route is to the left of a short crack with an obvious top-out above it. Sit-start on two-hand flake, slap-up to firm jug just beyond arm's reach. Mantle up to top-out. Picture.

#SD with right hand on a juggy undercling, left on a solid edge. Stay on the right face and follow the 'crack' up. Top is quite sandy, be careful.

A little smelly. Easy warmup route with a cool crux move right at the beginning. Find it by following your nose.
