First Ascent post break? Feels like solid 27 (easy 28) to me but needs consensus.

You get a great rest before the crux.

My beta is RH crimp, LF gaston to the undercling; right kneebar, bump RH to crimp then change left hand to lower undercling bring right hand to where left was and set up feet for a big move to the left hand side pull jug (cut feet and high left foot). RH to crimp, bump left hand up and get a left kneebar; RH to small gaston. LH low crimp switch feet and then get the jug above the chains.

Surprisingly lovely conditions for a good fight! After strategically forgetting beta, found a good flow through the crux. First of the grade.

Struggled with figuring out how to clip the draw during the crux, but that’s sorted now. Soon!

Tricky slab beta off the ground! Last time I tried it was in the rain, so this definitely went better. Climbed clean from the first bolt.

Working my first 25! Easy moves to tricky crux, finished with a small hop to a good hold. Can't imagine it will take too many more sessions.

Team flash with Rob. Good route, bit more consistent than some of the others. Watch out for seeping at the top, especially in winter/after rain.

Favourite route at this crag! Sustained and solid for its grade.

That move is more like a 23 and is a boulder problem. Beta: high right hand pinch (use thumb and all), left hand on shit crimp, high right foot and soon as you stand up quickly put left foot on left pedal and go for shitty lefthand pocket. I smeared my right foot and went for left hand grip slowly and wiggled my hand until the positive position and clipped.

Worked out the moves with Josh like two months ago. Good to come back and tick it off. Crux sequence felt easy -- falling off Red Guitar so much is paying off!

Its a tricky and sustained route that is hard to read with no good rests. The starting moves are really cool through a nice clean face. It then gets VERY runout between bolt 2 and 3, which scared me as I was going for OS and when I was at risk of a ground fall above b2 I had to do very strange movements to stay on route but also safe. This made the route harder and less fun. Once you have clip 3 in its quite good and tough climbing up to the chains, perhaps worthy of two stars and quite tricky for the grade.

Its good for an easier route but I think it is significantly easier than the grade it has (15). This is 13/14 at most. As a 13 it would be "very good" but it does not create a challenge for someone looking to climb 15. The face at the second half is really nice and is a great way to get a beginner on a nice wall with some natural movements through good holds.

For the grade its really great! Decent climbing and a tricky section with great exposure near the top that will generate some adrenaline for sure! Definitely not a give-away route for 15. One of the top easier routes in Cape Town.

Whaaaa, sent this route first go today after working out the sequence so many times 😆🕺🏽

Beta: crimp far left best, rh above layer then clip, lh goes to crimp on left but on right side then cross over with rh to left side crimp. Left hand goes up and squeeze crap little knob just quick enough to make big move to pocket then clip. At top crux stick to rh postbox, left hand left postbox, turn body in right hip to wall, layback right hand on crimp ramp, left hand to crimp grip above then up with right hand undercling tiny thing then big move to rail for clip

One attempt, the flake broke off! Nice dodge Matt. We made it to the New Year alive but it seems the route is now the hardest in the Silvermine. Maybe 30 or 31.
