Routes in Migjorn for selected grade

The right-hand line is brief but worthwhile. Rockfax 2020 6a+.

Begin in the cave at the northwest corner of Es Pontas, nearest to the old limestone quarry. Start with legs wide in a stem facing out toward the ocean. Scramble over the big rock to your left and then climb over the lip, up the juggy wall onto the top of es pontas.

An anti-clockwise route on the left pillar.

Some awkward moves out of the cave and back into the wall. Stays challenging until the top. Unclip 2nd bolt to reduce rope drag.

From the large submerged platform, traverse left until you are under the Nose. Climb straight up through the small crack, and top out by going over the nose. Don’t divert left (rock under water).

Walk up the simple ramp until you reach the roof. Then traverse out right and nip up the right side of the roof.

Nice moves but all but the very tall will struggle to clip the first crucial bolt. 5c in 2009 guidebook.
