Short and cruxy route start from the ground. I’m not sure about grade😉

Two days. First Female Ascent. Ceusienne Berlin style rock after 20 meters of easier tufa approach. Happy that I was able to cram two fingers into some of the tiny pockets. Quite atypical of Geyikbayiri. Good recommendation from Fleur and Mumin!

lol thought I would keep going on the extension after onsighting the first pitch. For some reason I had it in my mind that the extension was 7c+, na 8c. Might pay to look at the guidebook closer next time, I aint Sharma.

Feels hard for the grade, but maybe it's just the slightly hidden holds.

tried first section (~45m 7c+), but a bit too chossy and wet. so bailed after ~35m.

broke a handhold off and retreated. first half of route (~40m 7c) a bit wet and some holds not so structural avoiding the wet.

8-9 days. 10 redpoint attempts after I unlocked all the moves. A steep 8b+ bouldery section followed by endurance climbing. The lower boulder section really didn't fit me, but I had to persevere over many days despite very wet holds and seepage to find the beta that fit me. Happy it worked out!

jugs in a roof. Every burn I got one move further. Such a dream style. Wish we had more of this stuff at home. Happy not to have peeled off the top.

One of the most fun lines I've tried. Every move is a thug throw. First tried it a year and a half ago, 5 times before rain ended the tries. This season I tried once when I arrived, it felt easy. Didn't try it much again as it rained and got wet. Stuck the jug after the top crux once, only to break the last bit of the ideal foot (now it's gone) sending me flying:'( Today on about the 11th go with shredded shoes I went up to find a lot of the lower holds wet..... But the moves went. So I tried again, wet hands here and there, many wet feet later and a dank rest in the hole, I blasted through. One of the best!

Classic line in Alabalik! The route is quite short and bouldery with 3 defined cruxes with 2 ok'isch kneebar rest in between.

The only reason why it got 3 from 4 stars is the conditions. On sunny days there is just a 1.5h window in the evening to try, and there were a lot of sunny days in winter 2023 That makes it especially difficult to be ready and fit when the wheatear is good.

Was going for the send, blew a pulley in the pocket, got scared on the jugs and bailed... "POP!" 😭

Most fun line in Trebenna sector. After the year so many holds of the line broke, that the character changed completely. It is still cruxy but power endurance in the top is the key.

In my opinion 8c now.

Anri's first 6c! Stoked to belay her on her hardest send yet. When I tried it, I thought it was a solid 6c, relatively short and with hard techy moves, pretty fingery. Vertical to slightly slabby, the route doesn't really provide any good rests, or so felt my petty bouldering arms! Keeps you engaged, fantastic climbing.

Sharp holds, and pretty hard for the grade. Also, there's no anchor. We cleaned it using the first two fixed draws of the final 8b pitch.

Awesome and fantastic tufa climbing, with gymnastic moves and some beta figuring out to do, very tricky last bit that required some beta finding to clip the chains but lucky i got some beta from Tobias at the last move. Another gem of a route open by Daniel Dulac, its a mulit pitch that goes all the way to the top but the first pitch is too cool to pass off without trying it. The rest of the top pitches goes at 8b so no chance for me , haha. Cool climb and a pumper. I need to learn how to knee bar :p

Mega Pumper if you don't use knee bars, i had to borrow some knee pads from my friends cause i don't reckon i could pull the crux without the knee bar rest. Also need to learn how to use more knee bars because I suck at it and the blue mountains mostly has no knee bars. :p Glad to put this one away though. =)

God damn this is hard. 3 goes. Felt like I made good progress. Did all the moves. First 8b I've ever laid hands on.

Broke the last hold in the crux (right gaston above the two small crimps)... feels significantly harder to hold this now 😭

I got my tufa humping down proper on the top of this one. Not hard but with some many holds to choose from you get a bit pumped.

Athis crag has all the pearls. Bloody beyond good but solid.

Cool first pitch. Onsighted that then tried the second pitch but has one very hard roof move, which I couldnt workout. Think it maybe a very tall persons route or I was missing some vital knee or toe hook/bar.

Very fun moves.

No way it's 6b, involves a sideways dyno to a pocket.

Hard but would go if I had more time! The American before me pulled and fell on every bolt then loudly and proudly boasted to his girlfriend that he was happy with his onsight!!!
