Ascents in Turkey having Beta

Strange finish, otherwise excellent.

Trying to see if there's better beta for the top...the first hard move to the ledge is feeling easier now that I have confidence to do it. For the top crux maybe the right sloper is better than the right side pull. It makes the foot movements and the big move up more doable.

After multiple beta changes and so much self doubt, I happily clipped the chains on this climb. It was a really great saga.

Really really didn't think I've got it in me to do this route. Somehow it happened! Lot of power screaming involved ❤️😱

Sloper

One of the most fun lines I've tried. Every move is a thug throw. First tried it a year and a half ago, 5 times before rain ended the tries. This season I tried once when I arrived, it felt easy. Didn't try it much again as it rained and got wet. Stuck the jug after the top crux once, only to break the last bit of the ideal foot (now it's gone) sending me flying:'( Today on about the 11th go with shredded shoes I went up to find a lot of the lower holds wet..... But the moves went. So I tried again, wet hands here and there, many wet feet later and a dank rest in the hole, I blasted through. One of the best!

A good confident lifting climb

This route is so sick!!! I think I figured out all the moves but i still think there's maybe a less desperate way to do the top... um!!

Jugs into 3 bolts of mini jugs into a full reset then 2 more jugs to the chains.

Fun line especially as it had no chalk:D questing through the spider webs, searching for anything to hold onto. Funky feet

Dorked the first go, then went 4 times in a row directly after, falling, retying, going again, smashing myself and flailing in different parts on shredded shoes on shitty feet. Fun line, but fml it kicked my ass a bit. Really fun:D

Can't believe I sent this. First 7c+ (??). It has been so much fun to work out all the beta. Lukey taught me to use a knot on the sling to put in a pocket and that helped me direct the extended crux draw so I can reach it to clip!! I also changed the beta to crimping the outside of the pocket. I'm glad!! I feel like I have done something 😎

Fun. This one went quicker then the other two 8s at this crag.

Found two good kneebars on this but needed a third one for the send - thanks Heidixe for envisioning the kneebar and insisting I try it 🙏

Imo slightly harder then its neighbour 'Ucan Balik'

Pretty happy. Cool sequences! Definitely thought it was the 6a+ while climbing...

Tricky to figure out the way to go at the crux. Going direct would be way harder then the grade suggested.

Fun way to test out the finger. Very friendly bolting

At first the trav seemed daunting, but once youve done it, its super mellow. Just the headwall that spanks by the time you need to clip. Fun sequence. Extended perma anchor makes clipping more difficult:( Rad line. Psyched to have done 2 x 8s in a day:D

Figured out all the move this time, but on the last go trying to link the crux I felt something in my hand tearing on that big pocket while I try to chip. It was probably too cold to be trying this hard

Don't think I can try this again this trip but hopefully the injury isn't too bad .

Slabby route with little fingers. Traverse move is a little bit scary. Not a good warm up!

Sharp holds. Hard start. Little bit mental traverse. Stick to the left after the big overhanging ledge. Not very nice to fall on

Very technical. Polished. Mental.

Sehr schöne Route mit durchweg guten Griffen. gute Resting Positions. Save your Energy for the top.
