Ascents in Geyikbayırı having Beta

The final climb I’ll do in Geyikbayiri for a little while. The Turkish summer is here and things are damn hot and humid. Glad I ended it with a beautiful route.

This would benefit from moving a few bolts to the right so people climb the intended line. So much chalk in the chossy crack which avoids the crux of the 7a

I found this pretty hard! Few different tricky sections. Need more power endurance!

Sooo good! Amazing boulder sequence at the top on cool holds. Glad I kept holding on.

Pretty chossy most of the way up. I found the sequence at the top pretty hard. Climb is very average compared to everything else.

Quite tricky!! But some awesome technical moves. Definitely a climb to do in the cooler months when friction is a little better.

Tough boulder problem through the tufa. Only a short sequence and thankfully you get a good rest after the 7b+

This climb looks so much better up close, and actually climbs really well. Bouldery moves on good holds all the way.

Good golly.. Decided to try warm up on this because the planned warmup was in the sun. Too much coffee had me shaking my way up, but I somehow managed to pull it off.. 3 different bouldery sections, varying of styles. Very cool climb!

Holy heck this has some committing moves for your first go. But after you know what to do it’s okay. Such a good route!! Different styles and it’s consistent all the way to the chains. Mega!

Amazing route! Middle section was 10/10

Had to try pretty hard to get through the first boulder, and then a slippery traverse to an amazing juggy top. What a climbbbb!

Funky moves on this one. Took awhile to figure out my beta through the roof. And loved the last crux! Definitely a softy with all the kneebars.

I wish those incut crimps went forever. Awesome moves.

King line for sure. Such good and varied climbing. Amazing route.

Forgot how hard climbing is in the heat 😫. Bear hugging the tufa was not the right beta on a super humid and hot day.

Bit sad I dropped this, was not good sequences, bit of a king swing on the whip.

Some footholds and handholds at the crux are wet. Liked the tufa part, I wish it were longer

Ultimate mental game tester. Although it's much less scary with QDs hanging. Takes a looong time to climb it. Found 2 semi-kneebars which definitely helped. Great way to end the trip.
