Ascents of El Chocco

Nice climbing to the lip then an awesome mantle pocket press. Only had one go at the end of the day. Complained my way to the lip then played around a bit before figuring out how to hold the pocket. Should go next time!

6b all the way with one tricky mantle at the top. The classical heartbreaking route...

Damn right!! 3rd shot redpoint, went pretty easy in the end after falling off the last move twice. Great route!

Cruised the bottom section, can do the crux off the rope with a rest. New sequence not too bad, will definitely go. Will need good conditions for the slopey holds on crux.
